Nothing in Bali is too far away and can be reached in a day trip: Tanah Lot temple with its famous sunsets is 40km away; Ubud is 50km away; the beach strip from Seminyak through Legian to Kuta is 50km away; the airport is 55km away; Lovina and the beaches of the north coast are 50km away. This article mentions Soka Beach, which is 15 minutes drive from Kebun: https://www.theguardian.com/travel/2017/mar/06/bali-worlds-best-hidden-beaches-holidays
A large statue of the Buddha welcomes you to Kebun Villas, sitting in front of the restaurant and visible from the Pupuan road. The restaurant, Warung Kebun, offers a mixed menu of Indonesian and Western food, and is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and any time in between. Guests can enjoy meals and drinks in the open restaurant or on the terrace which overlooks the gardens, ricefields and coconut groves. Most of our guests go to the terrace as soon as they arrive, to take in the beautiful views.
Kebun has a public restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. There is a large sun terrace facing the view to the garden and the sea in the distance. Food and drinks can also be served at the pool or in the rooms. Guests can enjoy a round of mini golf, a game of ping pong, or boules in the gardens, and in the restaurant there is a library of books and games. Hiking in the local area can be arranged with the staff for a small fee.
